RunningWorks Cross Country Camps provide an excellent foundation for your cross country season. We offer an overnight camp for high school athletes. The camp features sport-specific training, conditioning, motivational activities and fun! We’re staffed by certified coaches, Olympians, NCAA All-Americans and collegiate conference champions, giving individual and small group instruction. Certified athletic trainers are also on staff. Interactive seminars include training, physiology, alternative training methods, plyometrics, strength and flexibility, nutrition, gait analysis, goal setting, racing tactics and mental preparation as well as optional master classes. Past speakers include Olympians Julie Culley, Chris Solinsky, Erin Donohue and Bob Kennedy!
FIRST SESSION: Sunday, July 30th – Saturday, August 4th, 2017 Held on top of Skiff Mountain at The Marvelwood School, a beautiful, private school in Kent, CT. Campers stay in double occupancy dormitory rooms. Cross country course on campus, as well as miles of nearby trials in Macedonia Brooke State Park and a nearby wildlife preserve. NO BUSING TO RUNS!
SECOND SESSION: Monday, August 14th – Saturday, August 19th, 2017
Held in the Pocono Mountains at Camp Canadensis, Canadensis, PA.
Campers stay in fully modern cabins, each equipped with bathrooms and showers. 25 miles of running trails surround the 75 acre Lake Lenape. NO BUSING TO RUNS!
Both camps are for incoming 9th -12th grades and for every level. You will be grouped by your ability and fitness, but please come with some summer training.
